The 3 national HPC facilities (CINES, IDRIS, TGCC) requires that you specify exactly from which machine you are going to connect to them. The procedure might differ from one place to another, but it boils down to providing a list of machine name (FQDN) and address (IP).
If you are planning to connect from OCA, you need to provide fixed IP addresses. You won't be able to connect directly from WiFi or through a VPN that is no provided by OCA (but you can still connect to an intermediate machine to be in an authorized configuration).
# How to ask for an autorisation
* [IDRIS](http://www.idris.fr): You need to fill and the relevant section of [Formulaire de Gestion de Compte](http://www.idris.fr/docs/formulaires.html). The "Responsable Sécurité" those signature is required is, for OCA, _Jean-Philippe Ghibaudo_.
* [CINES](https://www.cines.fr/): You need to fill and send the [Formulaire de demande d’ouverture IP](https://www.cines.fr/services/formulaires-et-textes/).

# Relevant adresses at O.C.A

If you want to push and pull/fetch since the HPC center, you will need to ask for the following autorisations:
* FQDN: `gitlab.oca.eu`
* IP: `192.54.174.47`
* port: 22 (for ssh connexions)
## When connected at OCA through VPN
You need to declare the following connection information:
* FQDN: `vpn-n-nat1.oca.eu`
* IP: `192.54.174.98`
## When connected to OCA through a regular wired connection
You need to declare the information matching you building DNS:
